Mixed media on board, cityscapes, title "Regentag in Krems", signed "O. Laske", 31x34 cm. The painting were submitted for sale at an online auction houses in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was sold to a private individual in Stockholm Sweden for 12,000 SEK (approximately 1,300 euros). The buyer became hesitant about the painting's authenticity and contacted experts who doubted the painting's authenticity. The auction house's Stockholm office withdrew the painting, replaced the buyer and contacted the police for further investigation where it turned out that it was a forgery.
