Tord Leander Engstrom was the son of artist Per Leander Engstrom. He attended the painting school Otte Sköld, at the Art Academy in Stockholm, and in France and Italy. He has painted landscapes depicting the Lofoten Islands, Lapland and Corsica.

Tord Leander Engström var son till konstnären Per Leander Engström. Han studerade vid Otte Skölds målarskola, vid Konstakademien i Stockholm, samt i Frankrike och Italien. Han har målat landskap med motiv från Lofoten, Lappland och Korsika.
