Født i Fredrikstad, norsk maler og tegner. Utdannet ved Statens håndverks- og kunstindustriskole og Statens Kunstakademi i Oslo under Axel Revold. Han ble sent anerkjent som kunstner, men fikk etter hvert en posisjon som en ledende kolorist. I et dekorativt formspråk, ofte med bordomramminger og ledsagende tekster, gjengav han med naivistiske trekk bl.a. arkitektur og nasjonale motiver. Mest karakteristiske er hans selvbiografisk inspirerte gjengivelser av mennesker som blir ofre for eksperimenter og tortur, f.eks. Kastraxion og Operasjon G, som skildrer en lobotomi-operasjon. Museet for samtidskunst i Oslo eier 13 malerier av ham.
