Bernard Lennon was born in Milton, Massachusetts, in 1914, and studied at The Massachusetts School of Art. Later, he lived in New York City, and in Gaylordsville, Connecticut, where he mentored students in Contemporary Impressionism. Lennon painted until his death in 1992. Some of his students continue to live and paint in the Gaylordsville area. Among the venues where the artist was known to have exhibited is The Parrish Art Museum, in Southampton, New York.
