Carl Gustaf Simon Nelson moved to America the age of five. He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. Later at the Art Students League in New York. He made a studieresea by a number of European countries, including Sweden. He paints landscapes, still life, figurative subjects as well as non-figurative compositions in oil, gouache and tempera.
Carl Gustaf Simon Nelson flyttar till USA vid fem års ålder. Han studerar vid Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. Senare vid Art Students League i New York. Han företog en studieresa genom ett antal länder i Europa, däribland Sverige. Han målar landskap, stilleben, figurmotiv samt nonfigurativa kompositioner i olja gouache och tempera.
