Egil Malmsten, född 16 november 1921 i Solna, är en svensk tecknare och konstnär. Han är son till formgivaren Carl Malmsten och ämnesläraren Siv Malmsten, född Munthe, samt dotterson till filologen Åke Munthe.
Egil Malmsten målar i såväl olja som akvarell. Hans verk, vilka är dels naturalistiska och dels rent abstrakta, finns representerade vid Moderna Museet i Stockholm, Stockholms stad och Solna stads samlingar. Han har studerat vid Konstakademien i Stockholm åren 1942 till 1947.
Han gifte sig 1944 med Birgitta Sorbon (1923–1973), dotter till hovfotografen David Sorbon och Gerda Lundqvist. Efter henne är firma Carl Malmstens lampskärmar med pressade växter uppkallade.
Egil Malmsten var den i familjen som sist bodde i Malmsten-huset i Bergshamra.
