Elena Mikaeli Bebutova biography:
Elena Mikaeli Bebutova was born in St. Petersburg, where she studied painting from 1907 to 1914. During that time she visited the Crimea, the Volga steppe and Central Asia. In the years 1923 and 1924 she educated herself in Paris. From 1913 on she exhibited her paintings. Her works are among others in the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
