Emmanuel Pons est un artiste français né en 1968. Il a exposé dans plusieurs Salons, et fut représenté par la galerie belge Kunty Moureau. Depuis 1998, le personnage central de son travail est le Trèfle, selon lui il est « la métaphore de l’homme dans des situations ubuesques ». Une rétrospective de cet artiste fut faite en 2000. En 2001, il se retire en Normandie pour se consacrer à l’écriture après avoir vendu près de 2000 œuvres. Parallèlement à la littérature et à la peinture, il se consacre actuellement à la sortie d’un long-métrage, Je viens de tuer ma femme adapté de son premier roman éponyme qui avait donné naissance à une série de toiles.
