Franz Xaver WOLF
Franz Xaver Wolf was a miniature painter. Born in Bavaria in 1887, he died in Germany in 1972, having fulfilled a life of pursuing his passion of painting. Wolf studied at the Academy of Fine Art in 1907, in Munich, one of the most influential art schools in Germany. After gaining significant popularity galleries world wide began exhibiting Wolf's work under a magnifying glass, allowing viewers to see every detail included.
