Festő. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán Balló Ede, Párizsban Lucien Simon és J. P. Laurens volt a mestere, majd Firenzében és Rómában folytatott művészeti tanulmányokat. Kolozsvárott dolgozott nyolc éven át. 1913-tól ő volt az Erdélyi Múzeum Képtárának őre. Majd Budapestre települt át a trianoni békeszerződést követően. 1911-től kiállító művész. Több hazai és külföldi tárlaton bemutatta munkáit. 1921-ben a Nemzeti Szalonban, 1928-ban a Műcsarnokban állított ki. 1929-ben Milánóban volt gyűjteményes tárlata. 1945-ben elhagyta Magyarországot. Több díjat nyert a 20-as években. Két képe található a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában, három pedig a kolozsvári múzeumban.
