August Herman Neujd studerade vid Tekniska skolan och Konstakademien i Stockholm, dessutom i Paris. Han var vid Gustavsberg 1897-1906. Gjorde figuriner, krukor och vaser i utpräglad jugendstil. Han utförde även större utsmyckningar. Lärare vid nuvarande Konstfack 1902-1931. Han målade även akvareller, gärna med sagomotiv.
