Justus Evald Lundegård var konstnär, målare, tecknare, grafiker. Studerade för Edvard Perséus och vid Konstakademien därefter i Paris och Italien. Han målade strandmotiv, samt skånsk natur, men även interiörer, samt landskap från Norge, Oberbayern och Italien, dessutom målade han även några porträtt. Han var även en god etsare av landskapsmotiv.
Representerad: i Nationalmuseum i Stockholm, Sommarfrukost, 1912 , Göteborgs Konstmuseum, Hän mot kvällningen 1898, Lunds universitet och bäst i Malmö Museum
