Ken DAMY
1949, Italy

Born in 1949.
Tought pictorial decoration in the Art Institute.
Took photographs for Piero Cavellini and Massimo Minini Galleries.
He was a lecturer of photography.

He is the founder and the artistic director of the Ken Damy Museum (since 1974).
The creator and the artistic director of the International Biennial of Photography in Brescia.

He has worked as a professional photographer and graphic designer.

He published more then 20 books and his work has been exhibited in numerous Italian and foreign galleries.

Curator of more then five hundreds exhibitions of internationally known authors.

He has contributed with his articles to the photographic magazines Zoom and Progresso Fotografico for more then 15 years.

Lately he is busy organising seminars on nude, portrait, architecture and experimental photography.

He travelled extensively and worked on more the thirty documentary projects dedicated to: Vietnam, Cambodia, Mexico, India, Cuba, Guatemala, Tibet, Morocco, Tunisia, United States, Egypt, Nepal, Eritrea.
