Magnus Dahlbäck är konstnär och scenograf, utbildad på konstskola i Örebro med en fyraårig teknisk utbildning i grunden. För Romateatern på Gotland har han gjort scenografin till bl.a. Othello, Som ni vill ha det och Köpmannen i Venedig. På Länsteatern på Gotland har han jobbat med Haren och Vråken och Cabaret. För Statens Historiska Museum har han gjort scenografi till utställningarna Medeltid och Linköpingsskatten och på Gotlands Länsmuseum 1500-1880, Futurum, Vision 1010 och Ett Gott Land. Han har illustrerat åt bl. a. Svenska Dagbladet, Vägverket och Försvarsmakten, haft separatutställningar på Galleri Couleur och Galleri Mowestor, båda i Stockholm, och medverkat i flera samlingsutställningar.
