Martin Emond studerade vid Tekniska skolan, vid Konstakademien för Olle Hjortzberg. Han var aktiv i konstnärsgruppen Nio Unga och utställningsföreningen Färg och form. Han utförde bland annat glasmålningar i Brågarps kyrka och i Sankta Maria kyrka i Helsingborg. Han arbetade även som illustratör.
