Mary Armour was born in Blantyre, Lanarkshire. Studied at the Glasgow School of Art in 1920-25 under Maurice Greiffenhagen and David Forrester Wilson. Showed with RSW, RSA and Glasgow Institute and Fine Art Society. Public galleries in Glasgow, Paisley, Aberdeen, Perth and Edinburgh hold her work. Lived in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire.
