Born in Milano in 1949, Mauro Perucchetti began working in his hometown. To study theater arts he moved to Rome, where he also began acting. He worked together with Elizabeth Taylor and Andy Warhol on the movie ‘The Driver’s Seat’ in 1974. Further acting roles followed and he established his own production company. After a reorientation, he moved to London to work as an interior designer. He sold his design and architecture company and his house in 2000 to become a full-time artist. For his artworks he developed a special type of resin. The artist has already participated in a number of international group and solo exhibitions. Works of his are located e.g. at the Welcome Trust in London and at the Gateway Foundation in Saint-Louis, USA.
