Nadezda Streltsova was born in 1973, Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia.
She has graduated from the Middle School of Art mentored by the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture n.a. I.E. Repin (also known as the Academy of Arts) in 1991. She has graduated from the State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture n.a. I.E. Repin (studio of prof. Neprintsev and Eremeev) in 1998. For her thesis "White Night" she was awarded the "Muse of St. Petersburg" grant and the state grant of the Ministry of Culture of Russia in 1999. In 2002 she received the "Young Artists of St. Petersburg" grant. Since 2001 she is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
