Signature proven counterfeit
mixed media on paper, design of composition, monogram signed "NK", size 30x23 cm. A private individual resident in a major city on the west coast of Sweden contacted a smaller auction house in Stockholm for sales of this painting. It was sold in February 2014 for 1,950 euros (17.500 SEK). The seller contacted once again the auction house in order to sell several more paintings. The seller wanted, however, that these sales were reported in another person's name. This made the auction house suspicious and contacted police. This painting turned out, after the expert's report, to be a forgery.
