Samuel Baruch Halle studied at the "Schüler des Städelschen" in Frankfurt, then in "Wappers" in Antwerp. He lived for a time in England, and finally in Paris. Halle worked as a painter and lithographer. He is represented in Frankfurt and London with portraits and genre paintings.
