Stina Sunesson studerade vid Otte Skölds målarskola i Stockholm. Gift med Kejsar Calle Sunesson. Hon företog resor till Frankrike, italien, Spanien och Norge.
Makarna bosatte sig 1956 i Tibble och i början av 1960-talet flyttade de till Tällberg. Hon målade i olja, men gick senare över till akvarell och gouacheteknik med stor detalj och färgrikedom. Hon målade ofta motiv med blommor och folkliv, samt landskapsmotiv.
