Alois Kalvoda – malíř a grafik, čelný mařákovec, od roku 1908 redaktor časopisu Dílo. Studoval na pražské akademii u Mařáka, dále v Paříži a Mnichově, posléze sám učil na akademii. Maloval především prosté motivy českého a moravského kraje.

Alois Kalvoda war ein Maler und Graphiker aus dem Umkreis Mařák, seit 1908 Redaktor der Zeitschrift Dílo („Werk“). Er studierte an der Akademie in Prag bei Mařák, weiter in Paris und später auch selbst an der Prager Akademie unterrichtete. Er malte vor allem einfache Motive aus böhmischer und mährischer Landschaft.
