André Beaudin est un artiste français né en 1895 et décédé en 1979. Il est connu pour sa peinture mais également pour ses sculptures et est affilié au cubisme parisien. Il étudie tout d’abord à l’Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris entre 1911 et 1915. En 1922, il rencontre Juan Gris et un an plus tard il expose pour la première fois seul à la Galerie Percier. Ensuite Kahnweiler le prend sous son aile et il expose à l’étranger aux côtés d’artistes parisiens. En 1962, il reçoit le Prix National des Arts. Plusieurs années plus tard, il exécute une mosaïque pour la faculté des sciences de Jussieu à Paris.
