The Greek artist Chatziioannidis Fotis studied at the Academy of Arts in Athens from 1959 to 1965. He then worked as a freelance sculptor and art educator in the capital (1965-1971). He received further artistic training at the Academy of Arts in Berlin, where he studied under Bernhard Heiliger from 1972 to 1977. The artist lives and works in Berlin ever since. His works have been exhibited at a number of international solo and group exhibitions since the late 1970s and the artist’s performance has also been repeatedly awarded.
