Guy Seradour est né en 1922 dans le Pas-de-Calais et décède en 2007. Il se passionne très jeune pour la peinture et entre en 1939 à l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Il ne reste cependant que trois mois dans l’établissement puis travaille seul. Il a montré sa première exposition personnelle à Alger en 1940. C’est un artiste reconnu internationalement en témoignent des expositions en France, en Belgique, en Angleterre, aux Etats-Unis, au Japon, en Iran etc. Reconnu par le public, ce peintre et pastelliste est fait Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur. L’artiste traite les figures par la ligne, ce sont principalement des portraits. Des toiles de Guy Seradour se trouvent au musée Cantini de Marseille mais également au Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
