John Collin studied at the Art Academy in Stockholm, and Paris. He has done some smaller busts and statuettes. He exhibited sculptures at the exhibition in 1907 and Lunda in the Baltic Exhibition in Malmo 1914th Most of his works owned by Kulturen in Lund.
