Jonas Forsslund studied at the Art Academy of Lorentz Pasch the Younger, and Gustaf Lundberg. He became a professor at the Art Academy. Painted several portraits in oil, by Gustav III and Gustav VI Adolf in Sweden. He also modeled some busts and medallions.
Represented: National Museum in Stockholm.
Jonas Forsslund studerade på Konstakademien för Lorentz Pasch d y, samt för Gustaf Lundberg. Han blev professor vid Konstakademien. Målade flera porträtt i olja, av Gustaf III och Gustaf VI Adolf. Han modellerade även några byster och medaljonger.
