Signature proven counterfeit
Oil on panel, signed "Luce", marine designs from the Seine, 21x16 cm. The painting sålsed via a small auction house in Stockholm in March 2014 for 4200 SEK (about 420 euros), excluding commission. The estimate was 800 SEK (about 80 euros). The police seized the painting and it was presented to experts who assessed it as a bad forgery. After further investigation, the court sentenced it as a forgery.
