Stig Borglind Henrik flyttade till Falun 1904 och började i läroverket. I parallellklassen gick Bertil Bull Hedlund.
1913-1914 deltog han i sommarkurser i grafik för Gabriel Burmeister, Stockholm. 1916 studier vid Althins målarskola, Stockholm. 1917-1919 studier vid Konstakademien. 1919-1920 företog han resor till England, Frankrike, Nordafrika och Italien. Efter resan bosatt i Falun och Svärdsjö. 1928 företog han ytterligare resor till Tyskland, Österrike, Frankrike, Belgien och Holland.
1940, Gifter sig med Ella Lenquist. 1942 pris som bäste utländske grafiker på Biennalen i Venedig. \"Fem Falugrafiker\"-utställning i Falun.
1960 blir han ledamot av Konstakademien.
