Amie Stålkrantz, keramiker född i Köping den 9 april 1930, dotter till förrådsförvaltare Uno Stålkrantz och Jenny Litz, från 1952 gift med landsantikvarien Karl Gunnar Lindqvist. Amie började arbeta som dekoratör i sin hemstad Köping, innan hon begav sig till Stockholm för keramikstudier på Konstfackskolan. Där var Amie elev under åren 1948-52. Efter studietiden väntade kortare anställningar vid Älvsjö Keramik och hos Knut Brinck Keramik. Hon gjorde även studieresor till Frankrike och Italien under första halvan av 1950-talet.
