Skulptör. Kom omkring 1880 till Stockholm. Han utbildade sig vid Teckniska Skolan och kom omkring 1888 in på Konstakademien i Stockholm.
Han belönades med Kunglig medalj i skulptur och företog därpå resor till bl.a. Paris och Italien.
Bland hans arbeten kan nämnas Ragnar Lodbrok, Skansen Stockholm, Gryning Nationalmuseum i Stockholm, samt konstindustriella föremål.
Han uppfann en gjutningsmetod, uppkallad efter honom som vann erkännande.
