John Österlund studied at the Higher School of Art and Design in Stockholm and at the Arts Academy. He painted the town motif, often from Visby, and landscapes from the West Coast. Represented: Uppsala University Library, Karlstad museum and Hälsinglands Museum in Hudiksvall.
John Österlund studerade vid Högre konstindustriella skolan i Stockholm och vid Konstakademien. Han målade stadsmotiv, ofta från Visby, samt landskap från Västkusten.
