Matilda has worked as an illustrator at advertising agencies and has been illustrating and painting on behalf of a number of major companies and groups for exhibitions, trade shows, ads, brochures, books etc. Since 2005 she has chosen to exclusively paint freely. This has generated an even greater success. She is currently represented by companies, art clubs and private homes in Sweden and abroad and has since 2007 been engaged by the consultants in home staging and real estate agencies with the help of her art 'styles' private homes for sale or for the furnishing of public places.
Matilda has had numerous solo and joint exhibitions and she was for example voted as “this year's crowd favorite” in Stockholm Konstsalong 2007
Technology: In essence, acrylic on canvas or wood, oil, oil pastel or watercolor.
Always different in different styles depending on the mood and inspiration.
"A painting should heighten the temperature of a room and be an interesting eye-catcher.
It should also be able to blend in and feel accessible. In particular, it shall give you a wall of living!"
Education / artistic background: Stand alone courses in Sweden and France. Today operates in Solna, and at times in her own studio in Magnan, Nice.

Matilda Lehvonen har ett förflutet som illustratör inom reklambranschen, vilken hon till slut lämnade eftersom behovet att få utvecklas som konstnär och fritt få måla och teckna blev för stort. Har sedan dess målat tavlor -helst modell större och i akryl.
Matilda har haft ett flertal separat- samt gemensamhetsutställningar. Hon blev bl.a. frmröstad som årets publikfavorit under Stockholms Konstsalong 2007.
